Abstract

At the beginning of the 21st century, the world witnessed the Fourth Industrial Revolution (Industry 4.0), which laid the foundations for digitalization, cloud computing, and the Internet of Things (IoT). Despite undeniable technological successes, Industry 4.0 faced criticism for its "technocentricity" a model in which machine efficiency often took precedence over human well-being and ecological balance.
